Teachers

In each of the games on the SDGs we have added a drop-down menu where you can easily find the didactic and pedagogical information for each of the activities created and the recommended age for each game.

We believe in combining games as a vital learning tool for girls and boys, and the 2030 Agenda as an agenda of opportunities to shape a new critical generation committed to a more sustainable and inclusive development beyond the reality of their family and immediate environment. Thus, the games are transformed into activities that foster knowledge, promote curiosity, social commitment and reflection in the framework of the SDGs on the reality of other countries and other people.

What is being worked on in the games?

The 17 SDGs and their respective targets represent a challenge to which all people must contribute in order to make a fairer and more sustainable world for new generations. For this reason, it is essential to reach out to the protagonists of these new generations, promoting active, critical and responsible citizenship from an early age.

These are therefore the main objectives to be achieved:

1. To develop in students a critical attitude, based on empathy and solidarity, about the reality of other countries and the problems and challenges faced by their inhabitants in the context of the SDGs.

2. To contribute to the knowledge, promotion and dissemination of the Sustainable Development Goals among pre-school and primary school teachers in order to involve them in the training of a new generation of responsible citizens who are aware of the serious socio-environmental problems that, in an interconnected way, hinder inclusive and sustainable development.

3. To promote dialogue and reflection in the family about the realities of people in less developed countries and the impact of our actions on their lives and on the planet, favouring a more responsible and conscientious model of family life.

What ages are they aimed at?

All the SDG Games we have created are a fantastic tool for teachers in any educational setting (formal and non-formal education) and are especially designed for children: for children from Pre-school to Primary School.
