ZERO HUNGER
The majority of hungry people live in developing countries.
About 690 million people suffer from hunger. Poor nutrition causes nearly half of all deaths in children under 5.
66 million children go to school hungry.
The main source of food and employment is agriculture, so productivity must be increased.
Several factors can influence hunger, such as energy poverty, wars, environmental or economic problems.
ACTIONS FOR 2030
- End hunger and malnutrition.
